This week in science we finished our experiments with the allelopathic plants. The ones that we poisoned with spotted knapweed, and the control wound up shriveling up and dying because of lack of water over the four day weekend. Although they died, we were able to collect a little data from the experiment. The spotted knapweed seemed to kill one of the plants that was just beginning to sprout, and another began to look a bit brownish.
